The Chalcots Community Goals

What were they?

The Community Organisers wanted to find out what Chalcots residents thought about their estate.

So they began talking to residents. In total, they spoke to 250. This included 228 individual households - 32% of all households in the Chalcots. You can read what those residents said here. 

Based on these interviews, we worked with residents to create 9 goals. Each goal aimed to make the Chalcots a happier, safer, and more connected community.

The Chalcots
Community Manifesto.

The goals eventually became the Chalcots Community Manifesto. This is a community-made document, outlining the current situation on the Chalcots, community research, and the 9 goals.
